Before the world began God chose A people for His praise,
Redeemed them by His Son's own blood, And saves them by His grace!

Where Jesus is, there we shall be. We'll see Him face to face!
Before His throne, eternally, We'll praise Him for His grace!
Immortal love no change can know. (Oh, blessed, blessed peace!)
To glory God's elect must go, As trophies of His grace!
Satan, the world, and sin (our foes), Would bring us to disgrace;
But we are kept safe and secure, By God's almighty grace.
The work which God by grace began, He will by grace complete.
Our foes cannot God's will withstand, Nor hell His grace defeat!
