WE CANNOT BE CONDEMNED!

For us the Son of God has died;
By blood we are redeemed!
In Christ forever justified,
We cannot be condemned!
Though we believe not, God is true.
The work which He began,
He will complete and in us show,
Unchanged His purpose stands.
If once the love of Christ has been
Upon our hearts impressed,
It cannot be, by hell, or sin,
Or God's own Hand erased.
The Lord will chasten when we stray
And hide from us His face;
But He will never take away
The cov'nant of His peace.
