TO CALVARY I MUST FLY!

Knowing my own depravity,
Sin I cannot deny,
Nor trust my works whate'er they be –
To Calv'ry I must fly!
Sold under sin, (My soul's complaint!),
I feel the galling load!
Though one with Christ I am His saint,
I own my sin to God.
I daily feel my sin and shame
And long for holiness,
Oppressed by sins of every name,
My only hope is grace.
My heart distressed, I go to God
With all my load of sin,
Pleading Christ's sin-atoning blood,
He speaks and says I'm clean!
