Safe and secure God's chosen are.
He is our sure Defense!
Eternal wisdom is our Guard,
Our help Omnipotence!
Our God sustains our feeble souls
In His almighty arms.
Our foes all heed His purpose and
He keeps us from all harm.
No mortal man, no fiend of hell
Have leave from to God to smite.
He keeps His chosen, ransomed ones
Secure both day and night.
My times are in His hands, I know,
Though untold dangers come.
