THIS IS THE BLESSED PLACE

This is the blessed place
Where our Redeemer comes,
To show the wonders of His grace
And meet His ransomed ones.
We've gathered in Christ's name.
(He is our Mercy-Seat!)
We turn our hopeful eyes to Him,
And worship at His feet.
We wait before Your throne,
And seek Your grace this hour.
O Lord, Your servant's message own,
And clothe him with Your power.
Lord, hear our prayers and cries,
Accept our feeble praise,
Give ear to our unspoken sighs,
And answer by Your grace.
God will His grace impart.
His mercy He will give.
He can revive our listless hearts
And cause the dead to live!
Give us, O Lord, a place
Around Your throne above,
Among those sinners saved by grace,
The people of Your love.
