Spirit of God, come down.
Reveal the things of Christ.
Make Him and His salvation known.
Teach us in Him to trust.
Oh, make each heart confess
That Jesus is the Lord.
Us sinners break us in humbleness
By Your grace through the Word.
Your servant help this hour
To preach Your Word aright.
His every word anoint with pow'r
As shafts of heavenly light.
Let us both know and feel
Our interest in Christ's blood
And cry, with joy unspeakable,
"My Savior and my God!"
Give witness by your Word
Of the atoning Lamb;
Apply to each that precious blood,
