SINCE GRACE IS FREE THERE'S HOPE FOR ME!

Since grace is free there's hope for me!
It's unconditional, I see;
That means that I can come to God
Upon the grounds of Jesus' blood!
Though I cannot God's mercy win,
He will forgive me of my sin;
Confessing all my guilt to Him,
Through Christ God now declares me clean!
Though I was dead, the Spirit came,
Gave life and faith in Christ, the Lamb,
His sin-atoning blood applied,
And said, "By grace you're justified!"
Tempted and tried, I'm weak and frail,
Yet, by God's grace I shall prevail;
Yes, to the end I shall endure,
Since God's free grace keeps me secure!
Praise God for grace, free, sov'reign grace,
Grace that chose me from Adam's race,
Grace that gave Christ to take my place!
Grace saved me, and grace gives me peace!
