Though the law could never bow, It cannot condemn us now. Jesus' blood makes us complete, Speaking from the mercy-seat. For His ransomed ones He claims, (See, upon His heart their names!) God, our Father, looked on Jesus As the Surety in our place. On the promise of obedience, God gave His elect to Christ. Help was laid on One that's mighty. And that mighty One is Christ. Jesus is the One Thing Needful While we walk the pilgrim way. Like the fiery, cloudy pillar, He will guide us in His way. He's the Rock of our salvation. Grace and mercy He'll supply. He's our Strength and Consolation, Prophet, Priest and King, and Guide! Jesus is the One Thing Needful For eternal joy and bliss. Christ will be our Crown of Glory, Crown of Life and Righteousness! Heaven is to be with Jesus And to see Him as He is! Jesus is the Sum and Substance Of eternal joy and bliss!
